I stayed in the smallest room (standard double?) on the floor but the interior was well arranged so it seemed quite spacious. I had no luggage so the I could use the floor space. The room is very basic so it's great for a short stay. Amenities etc. (in room): Small fridge hair dryer Kettle and mugs Nightwear Shampoo, body gel, conditioner Other amenities are by the reception. The bed is hard but it was to my liking so I slept well. Laundry: There is a small laundry room with 3 machines on the first floor. It's free but you need your own detergent. I bought some from 7/11 for about 400yen. Since the machine also dries, it take a VERY long time. I had about 4 or 5 items to wash and it took 3 hours. Personally, I would rather use the other small laundromats in the vicinity as I wouldn't need to buy detergent and can get my clothes done in an hour or less. Neighborhood: Right across from Sensoji Temple which is surrounded by street shops, malls and a variety of eateries. There is a Lawson and 7/11 near the hotel. The store inside the hotel has a few snacks and drinks is you want something small. A famous green-tea icecream shop is also next to the hotel. Eventhough it's a tourist hot spot, it was surprisingly quiet! Transport: The Ginza or Asakusa line is available at Asakusa station. Ginza will take you to Ueno Station and Asakusa will take you to Tokyo Skytree. Exit 2, 3, or 8 will let you out on the street to walk up to the hotel the fastest. You can cut through the Sensoji temple complex to get to the hotel faster. **there are 2 Asakusa stations; one for the Ginza and Asakusa metro line and the other for the Tsukuba Express line. Across the street from the hotel, Bus 08 will take you to Nippori station so you can jump on the Yamanote Line. And Bus 26 will take you to Ueno Koen (entrance to Ueno Park next to Ueno station) Other: The 1st floor lounge is very comfy. The rooftop is also nice to use and has park benches

Although the hotel is 15 min walk from Asakusa Station, it can be directly assessed from Narita Airport on the limited express Keisei Sky Access Line which stops at Asakusa Station, and saves the hassle of changing trains. It costs 1310Y and takes 55 min. The hotel is just across the road from Asakusa Sensoji Temple, with the eateries and shopping at your doorstep, including a quaint public bath just 3 mins away. It is a good base to visit Nikko, as the Tobu Nikko line starts from the Asakusa Station. The hotel is new and room access is via pin. The room has lots of powerpoints convenient for charging electrical devices. The wireless is strong and guests can access many channels on the room TV eg Netflix with your own account. The bathroom is compact, with a bathtub just nice to sit in, with Laura Ashley bath and shampoo.

The location is superb, near the Senso-ji Temple, Nakamise Shopping district, Sumida Park and Asakusa Station. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and very convenient. Plus, you get a nice view of the Tokyo Skytree when you’re strolling. Very convenient. There’s a lot of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Moreover, this allows luggage storage. The staff are all nice and fluent in English. Very accommodating and they would respond to your request or queries here in Booking.com. We stayed here for 5 nights and it was kept clean and tidy all throughout our stay. Water bottle is provided daily. Hygiene kits and teabags are available in the lobby for consumption. And also, you can borrow their umbrellas during rainy days. Overall, for the price, it was a solid stay.

No frills, functional with very good service. The hotel staff were very patient in helping us when we had problems with our credit card and also booking a taxi for us when we needed help with that. They also kindly helped to store our luggage with them for 5 days prior to check in which was a lifesaver otherwise we would have had to lug our luggage around with us while traveling. The hotel is located at a quieter part of asakusa so there are no crazy tourist crowds. At the same time, there are still very good meal options around.

The location is amazing. You are practically two blocks from Asakusa's shining star attraction - Sensoji Temple, and you are a 15 minutes walk from Asukusa station. As a Base of Operations, this would be an ideal place to go. The bed is nice and the room is clean. They also have a cafe conveniently downstairs. Also, nice computer-based check in so if you prefer to not talk to someone, it gives you the option to independently check in (keypad entry into room and code is given to you).
